Hello!

Hi! I am a Communication and Marketing student at the University of San Diego and an aspiring sports broadcaster with a strong foundation in live production and sports storytelling. I am passionate about using media to go beyond the game. I want to bring audiences closer to the athletes, moments, and stories that define sports. My work is driven by a focus on humanizing athletes and creating coverage that is both engaging and meaningful. 

At USD, I have gained hands-on experience working on athletic broadcasts in partnership with ESPN+, where I have taken on roles including camera operator, stage manager, assistant director, and livebook operator. Working in fast-paced, live production environments has strengthened my ability to think quickly, collaborate under pressure, and contribute to high-quality broadcasts. These experiences have given me a clear understanding of how every production decision, from camera angles to timing, helps shape the story audiences see on screen. 

Beyond production, I bring a strong background in communication and audience engagement. Through my coursework and media experience, I have developed the ability to analyze how stories are told and how audiences connect with them. I am especially interested in creating sports media that not only captures the excitement of the game but also highlights the people and perspectives behind it.

My work is guided by three core pillars: sports storytelling that humanizes athletes, technical excellence in live production, and a deep understanding of audience connection. As I continue to grow in the sports media industry, I am focused on building a career in broadcasting where I can combine these strengths to deliver compelling, high-impact sports coverage.
